Molokini Crater

#1 Edge of the World 50-130ft. Intermediate to Advanced

A large shelf that juts out and creates an overhang. The se floor plummets to 250ft. so buoyancy control is a must. Large fish and sharks are often seen.

#2 Enenui Side 50-130ft. Beginner to Advanced

A gentle slope to about 60 ft., then a sudden drop-off into the abyss. A great spot for photographing divers surrounded by reef fish. You can also visit the rare Boar Fish on this dive.

#3 Shark Condos To 130ft Advanced

At just before the 130ft. depth a series of shelves can be found, creating narrow voids back into the crater. The largest often houses a number of White-tip Reef Sharks.

(No longer Molokini Crater)

#4 Banyon Tree Reef To 70ft. Beginner to Intermediate

A unique cluster of large, mature Antler coral. These coral heads house a multitude of rare and unique species. Painted prawns, scorpion fish, and non-Hawaiian Baramundy cod are among some of the inhabitants.

#5 Red Hill 30-40ft. Beginner to Intermediate

At the base of Puu OlaI cinder cone lies a "sleeper" site. This area is great for exploration. Seldom seen creatures are among the inhabitants; Zebra Eels and Angler fish.

#6 Hawaiian Reef To 85ft. Beginner to Advanced

The name was given because it hosts a good cross section of topography and animal life typical to Hawaiian waters. Youll see everything from lava formations to coral reef, to sand and rubble, plus a diverse range of invertebrate and fish life. Both shallow and deepwater creatures.

#7 The Apartments/Battleship Rock 110ft. Intermediate to Advanced

This site, which is named after a formation resembling a ship, is an extension on the inshore "Hawaiian Reef" site. A series of lava ridges excite the imagination. Black coral, and bright red sponges cover the ridges and pinnacles. The Apartments are not frequently dived, so it is less disturbed.
